If you are actually bothered about democracy try to involve farmers in the discussion. Personally I do not have the time to haul myself down to Oxford at the busiest time of the year to do nothing but talk. So who does go there certainly not farmers who do the work to produce food and if they are not there WHO. Oh dear yet another talking shop from those who don’t actually get there hands dirty.
