    Laura Basu is a writer and researcher at the Institute for Cultural Inquiry, Utrecht University. Her books Media Amnesia and The Media & Austerity (co-edited with Sophie Knowles and Steve Schifferes) were both published in 2018. She is co-founder with Doro Wiese of the Amsterdam-based project Good Societies, which aims to develop ideas on how to better organise our societies.
